Learning something.

Well, in my opinion an election is a pretty important learning opportunity.  Perhaps it is an opportunity to learn something you did not know, or learn what some  one else might think or even learn what you might think.  Of course, there is often some discomfort involved, as with most learning experience.  For me I keep coming back to The Undivided Universe, because really the universe has to be pretty hard to divide , and yet some will try to divide it, because they see some advantage to it.

So, whatever emotions this might conjure, the following is a poem about connecting dots, which sometimes we are compelled to do.

Whispers of Leaves

In the stillness where thoughts collide,

A diamond’s edge, both sharp and wide,

We brush against the roughened seams,

Where motion dances, and time redeems.

Dried leaves flutter, caught in the breeze,

A gentle sway, a moment’s tease,

Each rustle whispers secrets old,

Of journeys taken, and stories told.

Mind like a river, flowing and free,

Carving through time, shaping what will be,

In the quiet, where shadows play,

We find the light of a fleeting day.

Embrace the chaos, the subtle grace,

In every heartbeat, a sacred space,

For in the motion, stillness hides,

And in our searching, the soul abides.
